EEMB Lithium Coin Batteries

EEMB is recalling lithium coin batteries (11 models) in non-child-resistant pouches due to risk of serious injury or death if swallowed by children.

What to do

Stop using these battery pouches immediately and keep them away from children. Contact EEMB USA at A2batt, Inc. for a refund or replacement with child-resistant packaging. Do not allow children access to the batteries.

Why it was recalled

The lithium coin batteries are in pouches that are not child-resistant as required under Reese's Law. If a child swallows button cell or coin batteries, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, including internal chemical burns and death.

Where it was sold

Online at Amazon.com from August 2023 through April 2026 for between $3 and $9.
