Why it was recalled
ZMC Group is expanding its recall of battery-operated light-up children's toys, including Mexican flag foam sticks, unicorn headbands, jelly rings, and heart-shaped balloon flowers. The toys violate the mandatory safety standard because button cell batteries can be easily accessed by children, posing a risk of serious injury or death from battery ingestion.
