If you have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk, do not consume this product. Check the expiration date on the front of the packaging; if it falls between November 2028 and May 2029 and the label does not list dairy, discard the product or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
Why it was recalled
Fayus Inc., dba Yusol International Foods, is voluntarily recalling Ola-Ola Pounded Yam because it may contain undeclared milk in the form of sodium caseinate, a dairy allergen. The recall affects products with expiration dates from November 2028 through May 2029. No illnesses have been reported.
