Ajinomoto is recalling 36.9M lbs of frozen chicken and pork fried rice, ramen, and shu mai products over possible glass contamination.
Do not consume these products. Throw away the recalled items or return them to the place of purchase. Why it was recalled
Ajinomoto Foods North America is recalling approximately 36.9 million pounds of frozen chicken and pork fried rice, ramen, and shu mai products due to possible glass contamination. Affected products include 1.53-kg Ajinomoto Yakitori Chicken Fried Rice packages (best-before dates 26 SE 09–26 NO 12) and 20-oz Trader Joe's Chicken Fried Rice bags (best-by dates 9/8/2026–11/17/2026), produced September 8–November 17, 2025, bearing establishment number P-18356. Four consumer complaints of glass in product have been reported; no injuries confirmed.
