What happened

LSY Direct is recalling about 11,900 BBWOO Baby Loungers sold on Amazon.com because they violate the mandatory safety standard for Infant Sleep Products. The loungers' sides are too low to contain an infant and the enclosed openings at the foot are wider than allowed, posing serious risks of fall and entrapment hazards to infants. No incidents have been reported. The recall was announced by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission on January 15, 2026.

The recalled baby loungers, made in China, are made of a foam sleeping pad and padded bumpers with a cloth cover and have a ribbon tie at one end. They were sold from September 2025 through November 2025 for about $23. Styles and models include Gray Dinosaur BLG26BE, Blue Car BLG23BD, Green Line BLG04BD, Gray Feather BLG01BE, Pink Deer BLG17BI, Pink Elephant BLG32BI, Gray Line BLG04BE, Blue CZC44, Gray CZC41, Khaki-Cotton & Velvet CZC43, and Red CZC42.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled loungers and contact LSY Direct for a full refund. Consumers should remove the foam and pads from the lounger’s cover and cut the cover, foam, and pad in half.
