What happened
Joolz USA Inc. is recalling the Joolz Aer2 Car Seat Adapters for Joolz Aer 2 Strollers because the adapters can fail to properly attach to the stroller, which may allow the car seat to fall, posing a risk of serious injury from a fall hazard. The firm has received one report of the adapters detaching from the strollers, and no injuries have been reported. The recall involves about 3,840 adapters in the United States and about 148 in Canada.
The adapters are black, made of plastic, and sold in a set of two as accessories for the Joolz Aer 2 Stroller. They are designed to transfer a car seat from a car to the stroller. A product identifier starting with NL311 can be found on the inside of the adapter.
The adapters were sold at Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, and specialty stores nationwide, and online at joolz.com, bloomingdales.com, nordstrom.com, and amazon.com from June 2025 to May 2026 for about $50. The adapters were imported by Joolz USA Inc., of New York, New York, and made in China.
Consumers who have the recalled adapters should return them using the prepaid shipping label provided by the firm to receive a refund. The firm will provide a video on how to remove the adapters from the stroller, and full refunds will be reimbursed via an electronic payment method or a virtual prepaid gift card.
