Joyin is recalling Sloosh dive sticks (model 40041) due to an impalement hazard that violates the federal dive sticks ban.
Immediately stop using the recalled dive sticks and take them away from children. Contact Joyin for instructions on how to destroy the dive sticks by cutting them in half and emailing a photo of the destroyed product to the firm to receive a full refund.
Why it was recalled
The recalled dive sticks are made of hard plastic and pose an impalement hazard because they violate the federal dive sticks ban. Children may fall or land on the sticks in shallow water, resulting in serious piercing, facial, or eye injuries. The affected model is 40041.
