What happened
Little Cow Company LLC is recalling its Little Cow Co. 9 oz candles in glass jars because the glass jar can crack or break during use, posing fire, burn and laceration hazards. The firm has received two reports of glass jar breaking, with no injuries reported. The recall involves about 1,140 candles sold nationwide at New Seasons Market and Town and Country stores from December 2025 through January 2026 for about $25.
The recalled candles came in 9 oz glass jars with screw top lids, featuring a sticker with the brand name "Little Cow Co." on the center of the front, which also states "100% natural soy wax candle, laced with organic butter." The candles were made in the United States.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled candles and contact Little Cow Company to receive a full refund. They will be asked to draw an 'X' on the glass container with a permanent marker, cut the wicks, and email a photo of the marked jar and cut wicks to the company.
