CCCEI power strips are recalled due to a fire hazard caused by a lack of overcurrent protection.

What to do

Immediately stop using the recalled power strips. Cut the power cord in half, take a photo of the cut cord, and email the photo to the company to receive a full refund.

Why it was recalled

These power strips lack required overcurrent protection, posing a fire hazard that can lead to serious injury or death from smoke inhalation and burns. The affected units feature a black metal enclosure with six black plastic receptacles and individual on/off switches, available in 6ft, 10ft, and 15ft cord lengths.

Where it was sold

Online at Amazon.com from April 2024 to January 2026 for between $23 and $30.
