CCCEI Brand Power Strips
CCCEI power strips (6ft, 10ft, 15ft cords) lack overcurrent protection and pose fire risk if overloaded.
What to do
Stop using the power strip immediately. Do not plug additional devices into it. Unplug it from the wall outlet and contact Middle Way Electronics for a refund or replacement.
Why it was recalled
The power strips do not contain supplementary overcurrent protection, which creates a risk of fire if the power strips are overloaded. The resulting fire can cause serious injury or death from smoke inhalation and burns.
Where it was sold
Online at Amazon.com from April 2024 to January 2026 for between $23 and $30.
