Prestige Supernova and Typhoon Lighters

Prestige is recalling Supernova and Typhoon butane lighters because they lack required child-resistant mechanisms, posing fire and burn risks.

What to do

Immediately stop using the recalled lighters and keep them out of reach of children. Contact Prestige Import Group for a full refund by destroying the lighters: cut the lighter in half and email a photo of the destroyed product to recalls@prestigeimportgroup.com.

Why it was recalled

Prestige Import Group is recalling Supernova and Typhoon metal butane torch lighters because they lack the required child-resistant mechanism. These lighters were distributed nationwide and pose a risk of serious injury or death from fire and burn hazards. The recalled products include the Supernova gray and black lighters with a textured grip and mesh-like metal panel, and the Typhoon rectangular lighters in silver, black, and black/silver finishes.
