Kluster Magnet Chess Games
Stoney Games is recalling Kluster Magnet Chess Games with loose high-powered magnets posing serious ingestion hazard to children.
Stop allowing children access to this product immediately. Do not attempt to use or repair the game. Contact Stoney Games, LLC for instructions on safe return or disposal of the magnets. If a child has swallowed magnets from this product, seek immediate medical attention and inform the healthcare provider of magnet ingestion.
Why it was recalled
The recalled magnet games violate the mandatory standard for toys because they contain loose high-powered magnets that fit within CPSC's small parts cylinder, posing an ingestion hazard to children. When high-powered magnets are swallowed, the ingested magnets can attract each other, or other metal objects, and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in perforations, twisting, and/or blockage of the intestines, blood poisoning and death.
Where it was sold
Independent game shops nationwide, and online at Klustermagnets.com, Amazon.com, and Etsy.com from October 2018 to September 2025 for between $15 and $2.
