Vanderhall North America, LLC is recalling Vanderhall Brawley GTS electric recreational off highway vehicles because the vehicle can maintain speed or accelerate when the accelerator pedal is released, posing a risk of serious injury or death from a crash hazard. The firm has received one report of a vehicle unexpectedly accelerating, and no injuries have been reported. About 210 vehicles are affected.
The recalled vehicles include all model years 2024, 2025, and 2026 Brawley GTS electric recreational off highway vehicles, which come in Emerald Green, Ida Rose, Ivory White, Jean Grey, Obsidian Black, and Royal Blue. They were sold at Vanderhall North America dealers in Utah, Ohio, Michigan, Texas, Montana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Arizona from April 2024 through June 2026 for about $50,000. The vehicles were made in the United States.
