Mainstays 9-Drawer Fabric Dressers are recalled due to tip-over and entrapment hazards that pose a risk of serious injury or death to children.
Immediately stop using the dressers if they are not anchored to the wall and keep children away from them. Contact Walmart for a full refund or a free wall-anchoring kit. To receive the remedy, consumers must provide a photo of the dresser and the label located under the top panel showing the manufacture date.
Why it was recalled
The recalled dressers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, posing tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in risk of serious injuries or death to children. The dressers violate the mandatory safety standard as required by the STURDY Act.

Walmart stores nationwide and online at Walmart.com from September 2023 through March 2026 for about $80.
