Why it was recalled
Appco Pharma LLC is recalling Prazosin Hydrochloride Capsules, USP, 1mg, 100-count bottles, due to detection of N-nitroso-prazosin impurity C (NNP), a nitrosamine drug substance-related impurity, above acceptable limits. The impurity may increase the risk of cancer with long-term use.
