Why it was recalled
Bell Pharmaceuticals is recalling multiple store-brand carbamide peroxide 6.5% ear drops (0.5 FL OZ) sold under CVS Health, Clinere, QC Quality Choice, TopCare Health, Audiologist's Choice, Family Wellness, Good Neighbor Pharmacy, Leader, Foster & Thrive, Meijer, and CareOne labels. The products are subpotent due to low pH and significantly reduced assay (~0.6% vs expected ~6-7%), which may result in ineffective treatment of earwax buildup.
