Why it was recalled
Boston Scientific is recalling the Rapid Refill Continuous Injection System because it contains a Medline Namic Angiographic Control Syringe with a rotating adaptor that may loosen or disconnect from the manifold. This defect can cause fluid leakage, difficulty with aspiration or injection, or complete separation of the syringe from the system, which may require a device exchange and prolong medical procedures.
