Why it was recalled
CareFusion 213, LLC is recalling multiple BD ChloraPrep and BD PurPrep antiseptic applicators due to a lack of assurance of sterility. Unsterilized applicators intended for further processing were distributed to customers outside the intended channel, posing a risk of infection.
