What happened

Clover Hill Dairy, LLC, of Mechanicsville, Maryland, announced a voluntary recall on June 9, 2026, of all its cheese products because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people. The recall began June 1, 2026, and was added to the FDA's Enforcement Report on August 4, 2026. The products were distributed in Maryland, New York, and Virginia.
