Molift Mover 205, Mover 300 and Sling Bars

The Molift Mover 205, Mover 300, and sling bars can have a broken bolt that limits joint mobility.

What happened

ETAC A/S, of Gedved, Denmark, recalled Molift 2-point sling bars, Molift Mover 205, Molift 4-point sling bars, and Molift Mover 300 after a customer experienced that during assembly and load testing of the device, the bolt for mounting the lifting bar broke. The defect occurs as a result of deformation of the materials involved between the lifting bar and the arm of the device, which can lead to limited mobility in the joint, which prevents proper functionality of the equipment.

The company began the recall on November 17, 2025, and the FDA added it to its Enforcement Report on February 5, 2026. The products were distributed in the state of Pennsylvania and in Australia, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Qatar, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK.
