Why it was recalled
Fagron Sterile Services is recalling Vancomycin HCl 1.5 grams in 250 mL 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection USP due to a lack of assurance of sterility. The blue break-off part could detach from the administration port, potentially compromising sterility and posing a risk of infection.
