What happened
Falcon Trading Co., Inc. of Royal Oaks, California, recalled three Sunridge Farms organic products because they may be contaminated with the pesticides haloxyfop and thiamethoxam. The recalled items are SunRidge Farms Organic Chili Bean Blend, Organic Sunset Soup Mix, and Organic Black Beans, all certified organic by QAI. The company began the recall on March 24, 2026, and the FDA added it to its Enforcement Report on May 5, 2026.
The products were sold in bulk in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Missouri, Texas, Vermont, and Washington. Because the items are sold in bulk, lot numbers can be mixed in the sales bin, so the company recalled all lot numbers of the three items.
