The company initiated the recall because the arrowroot flour ingredient was voluntarily recalled by the supplier due to potential contamination of soft kraft paper/plastic bag pieces.
The recall affects limited batches of the 5.5oz products produced between July 2025 and September 2025, and is nationwide in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
No illnesses or injuries have been reported, and no other Gerber products are impacted. Consumers who purchased the affected biscuits should not feed them to their child and can return the product to the retailer for a refund. The company is no longer working with the flour supplier and is cooperating with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration.
