Why it was recalled
IKM is recalling several metal cookware items because they may contain significant levels of lead (Pb) that can leach into food. The recalled items include A-cook Aluminum Kadai size 5, Brass Tope, IKM 4-quart Pital brass pot, and IKM Aluminum saucepan with wooden handle 9'. Lead is toxic to humans, and even low levels of exposure can cause serious health problems, especially in children and fetuses.
