Why it was recalled

Medline Industries is recalling Anterior Hip Packs (model DYNJ64672B) because the kits contain recalled Olympus single-use biopsy valves. Olympus is investigating increased complaints of rubber fragment detachment in the valve slit, which could lead to a foreign body in the patient's tracheobronchial tree, potentially requiring intervention, and may cause inflammatory response, hypoxia, or procedure prolongation.
