Why it was recalled

Medline Industries is recalling specific lots of Medline convenience kits containing Cardinal Health Webcol Large Alcohol Prep Pads because the prep pads may be non-sterile due to contamination with Paenibacillus phoenicis, discovered during a routine sterilization dose audit. Use of non-sterile prep pads could lead to infection.
