Medline is recalling Medcrest surgical gowns due to a risk of fabric delamination during laundering, which may lead to infection.
Immediately inspect all inventory for the affected surgical gowns. If delaminated product is identified, stop use and contact Medline for further instructions.
Why it was recalled
Fabric may experience premature delamination when using included laundering instructions. Identifying delaminated gown or drape in a surgical setting may result in brief delay in patient care. If delaminated product is used and surgical strikethrough occurs, there may be risk of infection.
