Why it was recalled
Nipro Renal Solutions is recalling MedicaLyte Liquid Bicarbonate Concentrate (REF: BC-100 and BC+201) because the hemodialysis concentrates contain high endotoxin levels, which can cause fever, chills, and other serious reactions in patients.
