What happened
Raw Farm LLC of Fresno, California, recalled several raw cheddar products after the FDA issued an Advisory without batch numbers or expiration dates, in relation to a multi-state outbreak of E. coli O157:H7.
The recall, announced April 2, 2026, covers Raw Cheddar Simply Shredded Original, Raw Cheddar Original, Shredded Raw Cheddar bulk, Original Raw Cheddar bulk, and Raw Cheddar Jalapeno, all made with whole raw milk. At the request of the FDA, Raw Farm is issuing a Voluntary Recall of the batches of cheese below and any batches produced prior to these dates.
The products were distributed in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Nevada and Texas.
