Raz Mobile Shower Commode Chairs

Mobile shower commode chairs may be reinstalled without properly engaging the outside rear seat brackets that keep the seat in place.

What happened

Raz Design Inc of North York, Canada, recalled its Raz-AT (Attendant Tilt), Raz-ART (Attendant Rotational Tilt), Raz-AT600 (Bariatric Tilt), Raz-SP (Self Propel), and Raz-AP (Attendant Propel) Mobile Shower Commode Chairs. The recall began January 5, 2026, and was added to the FDA's Enforcement Report on March 6, 2026.

The reason stated by the agency is that due to a modification by a vendor, the chairs may be reinstalled without properly engaging the outside rear seat brackets that are used to keep the seat in place. The chairs were distributed nationwide in the states of CO, FL, IL, MA, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OR, PA, TX, WA, and WI.
