Shimadzu Medical Systems X-Ray and Angiography Generators
Shimadzu is recalling 20+ models of X-ray and angiography systems due to a contactor defect that may keep power active when switched off.
What to do
Contact your local Shimadzu service representative to schedule a mandatory inspection and repair of the high-voltage generator contactors.
Why it was recalled
Electromagnetic contactors within high voltage generator may weld together, resulting in current being supplied to power supply even if power is off.
