Why it was recalled
Vitruvias Therapeutics is recalling one lot of Thyroid Tablets, USP 30 mg because testing confirmed the product may be superpotent. Consumption of superpotent thyroid tablets can cause hyperthyroidism, with symptoms including weight loss, rapid heart rate, and heart rhythm disturbances, with greater risk to elderly, pregnant women, and infants.
