What happened
Ukrop's Homestyle Foods, a Richmond, Va., establishment, is recalling approximately 22,880 pounds of baked spaghetti and chicken cobbler products that may be contaminated with foreign material, specifically metal slivers, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced on July 31, 2026. The products were produced from July 1, 2026, through July 29, 2026.
The recalled items include 62.4-oz. and 14.8-oz. containers of Ukrop's Baked Spaghetti and 48-oz. and 11.6-oz. containers of Ukrop's Chicken Cobbler, all with BEST BY dates from 07/08/26 through 08/05/26. They were shipped to retail locations in North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, the Department of Defense, and online sales.
