What happened
Braun Industries, Inc. (Braun Ambulances) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Demers FXP174 ambulances. The floor may have insufficient strength to secure the seats in position during a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 207, "Seating Systems" and 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages." The remedy is currently under development.
