Why it was recalled
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2026 Jeep Wrangler, Gladiator, Compass, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, Grand Cherokee L, Grand Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer L, Ram Promaster, Promaster EV, 1500, 2500, Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid, Voyager, 2026-2027 Chrysler Pacifica, and Dodge Charger vehicles because the rearview camera image may fail to display when the vehicle is placed in reverse, violating FMVSS 111. A rearview camera image that fails to display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
