NHTSA recall,

Chrysler Ram 1500 Vehicles

The Ram 1500 has air bag connectors that may not be secured, increasing injury risk in a crash.

What happened

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2026 Ram 1500 vehicles because a connector for the driver and front passenger side air bags may not be secured properly, which can cause the air bags not to deploy as intended. A side air bag that does not deploy as intended increases the risk of injury in a crash.
