Chrysler is recalling certain 2022-2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Wagoneer vehicles due to a software error affecting the gear selection indicator.

Why it was recalled

Chrysler is recalling certain 2022-2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2023 Jeep Wagoneer, 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, and 2024 Jeep Wagoneer L vehicles. A software error may prevent the transmission gear selection indicator from displaying, which fails to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 102. This issue may lead to unintended vehicle movement or rollaway, increasing the risk of a crash. The recall was distributed nationwide.
