Why it was recalled
Daimler Trucks North America is recalling certain 2026–2027 Thomas Built SAF-T-LINER HDX2 transit buses because the driver seat belt anchor may have been installed with inadequate hardware, failing to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 210. An improperly installed anchor may fail to restrain the driver in a crash, increasing injury risk.
