What happened
Diamond Coach Corporation is recalling certain 2025-2026 VIP motorcoaches equipped with certain QRT-360 wheelchair retractors. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured. An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury. The recall affects 38 vehicles nationwide.
The recall was reported to NHTSA on June 26, 2026. Dealers will replace the retractors, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 25, 2026.
