Contact Ford immediately to have the windshield bonding inspected and corrected at no cost. Do not drive the vehicle until the windshield has been properly secured.

Why it was recalled
Ford is recalling certain 2026 Explorer vehicles because the windshield may not have been properly bonded to the vehicle during manufacturing, allowing it to detach in a crash. This violates FMVSS 212 windshield mounting requirements and increases injury risk in a crash.
