Ford Engine Block Heater
Ford is recalling 2016–2018 Focus and 2019–2024 Explorer vehicles; engine block heater may short circuit and cause fire.
What to do
Stop using the engine block heater immediately. Contact Ford to schedule a replacement of the engine block heater at no cost.
Why it was recalled
An electrical short circuit can increase the risk of a fire.
