What happened

Fwmoto INC. (FLYE) is recalling certain 2024 Fwmoto FLY-10 and 2022-2024 FLY E-BIKE FLY-10 scooters. The rear wheel hub may be missing the DOT marking, failing to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 123, "Motorcycle Controls and Displays."

The wheel hub may be improperly assembled or installed without the proper markings to identify the part, increasing the risk of a crash or injury. The recall affects 1,835 vehicles nationwide and was reported to NHTSA on January 23, 2026.

FLYE will replace the rear wheel hub, free of charge, or repurchase the vehicle. Owner notification letters were mailed March 27, 2026.
