Why it was recalled
General Motors is recalling certain 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe, Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon, GMC Yukon XL, Cadillac Escalade, and Cadillac Escalade ESV vehicles equipped with 10-speed transmission with ETRS (Electronic Transmission Range Select). The transmission control valve may fail and lock up the rear wheels, increasing crash risk.
