Gillig is recalling 2023–2024 Low Floor transit buses with Michelin X InCity Grip D tires due to GAWR placard exceeding tire load rating.
What to do
Contact Gillig, LLC for a corrected federal placard that accurately reflects the tire load rating. Do not operate the vehicle with an incorrect GAWR placard until the correction is made.
Why it was recalled
Referencing an incorrect GAWR can lead to unintentionally overloading the rear tires, increasing the risk of a crash.
