What happened
Grand Design RV, LLC is recalling certain 2025-2026 Lineage recreational vehicles because the adhesive securing the solar panels to the roof may fail, allowing the solar panel to detach. A detached solar panel can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash. The recall affects 460 vehicles nationwide.
The report to NHTSA was January 23, 2026. Dealers will properly secure the solar panels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 4, 2026.
