What happened

Grand Design RV, LLC is recalling certain 2027 Transcend travel trailers because the tire information label may state the incorrect tire size and cold inflation pressure. As a result, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims." Referencing incorrect information can lead to installing the wrong size replacement tires or underinflating the tires, increasing the risk of a crash.

The recall affects 53 vehicles and was reported to NHTSA on October 9, 2026. The issue was identified by the agency as incorrect tire size and pressure information on the label. Dealers will replace the labels free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on November 19, 2026.
