Hiab recalls K-HiPro 425 and 505 cranes due to weld fatigue that may cause column collapse.
Stop using the crane immediately and contact your authorized Hiab dealer to schedule an inspection and repair. Do not operate the crane until the weld has been inspected and, if necessary, repaired.

Why it was recalled
Hiab USA Inc. is recalling certain K-HiPro 425 and K-HiPro 505 cranes because the weld between the column pillar and the main plate may fatigue and crack over time. A cracked weld can cause the crane column to collapse during use, posing an injury risk to the operator or bystanders.
