Why it was recalled
Hyundai Motor America is recalling certain 2025–2026 Genesis G80, GV80, G80 Electrified, GV60, GV70 Electrified, and GV70 vehicles due to a software error that may cause the instrument panel display to fail. A failed display prevents the speedometer, fuel gauge, and other critical safety information from showing, increasing crash risk and violating FMVSS 101.
