Why it was recalled

Hyundai is recalling certain 2025-2026 Tucson, Tucson Hybrid, and Tucson Plug-In Hybrid Electric (PHEV) vehicles because a software error may cause the instrument panel display to fail. This failure prevents the display of critical safety information, such as the speedometer or warning lights, which increases the risk of a crash and fails to comply with federal safety standards. The recall is distributed nationwide.
