IC Bus EVSB School Buses

IC Bus EVSB school buses have a high voltage disconnect switch that may fail to shut off power, increasing risk of electrical shock injury or death.

International Motors, LLC is recalling certain 2022-2027 IC Bus EVSB school buses. The high voltage disconnect switch may fail to shut off power to the battery. Switch failure may lead to unintentionally working on an energized high voltage battery, increasing the risk of injury or death by electrical shock. The recall affects 1,896 vehicles nationwide.

The recall was reported to NHTSA on April 9, 2026. Dealers will repair the high voltage disconnect connector bypass circuit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 4, 2026.
