Mitsubishi Outlander Liftgate Gas Spring
Mitsubishi is recalling 2014–2022 Outlander vehicles; liftgate gas springs may rupture or fail, causing unexpected drop.
What to do
Stop using the liftgate and contact Mitsubishi Motors North America immediately to schedule a replacement of the liftgate gas spring cylinders at no cost.
Why it was recalled
A gas spring cylinder rupture or a liftgate falling unexpectedly can increase the risk of injury.
